The Undercrew Expansion
A downloadable expansion
The world is broad enough to accommodate any number of people who have devoted their lives to pursuits both strange and specific. The needs of wildships are as diverse as their objectives and designs: ergo, many of these people may be found at sea, plying their particular trades for the benefit of their crew.

The bargain that civilization struck with the beasts of the field was simple: we shall feed you, and we shall feed upon you. Crezzerin put an end to that, for a time: domestication was undone in an instant, pastureland a fading dream. In time, however, the survivors of that green apocalypse managed to grip again the tools of agriculture that the Verdancy had wrenched from their grasp.

The Undercrew Expansion is an extended thought experiment on gangs, officers, and packs in the tabletop roleplaying game The Wildsea, by Felix Isaacs. It contains...
- A large number of shipbuilding options
- New and alternate rules for advancing gangs and officers during play
- A system for tracking and progressing relationships with important NPCs
- Rules for pastoronautics – the raising of animals for sustenance and profit
- An extensive bestiary of animals that your sailors might keep or encounter as livestock on the waves
- Pastoralist hazards that threaten the ship-herd, and with it your sailors’ livelihoods
- A freefleet of exiled nomadic herders
- Two new posts – the Bosun, master of rope and sail, leader of the undercrew, and the Pastoronaut, who tends to the beasts that live alongside wildsailors
The Undercrew Expansion is an independent production by Regina DeAngelo and is not affiliated with Mythworks or Felix Isaacs. It is published under the By Firefly’s Light License.
